Often it isn’t enough for the U.S. to send out our best bunch of baddie-dispatching commandos. The Dirty Dozen allows you a sampling of taking the WORST of the best – armed forces prisoners – and honing them into a different set of fine Nazi-killing machines. The training of the fresh, bad-ass recruits is even as exciting as the action scenes featured therein film, and ends with one of the most piquant scenes that is sure to satisfy those anticipating a high Nazi body count. The cast of (what were then) children eventually became about of Hollywood’s biggest stars on the 60’s and 70’s, making this another fantabulous addition to anyone’s videodisc library. It’s one of the greats without doubt.

For those of you that haven’t shared in this special piece of Hollywood, you’re in for a treat. This film hasn’t only been re-released on special edition videodisc (with features that are something to truly marvel at) but features among the largest casts of greats that I do not think accepts always been agreed. This 1962 classic bids some history-based events (admitting paratroopers being massacred by Nazis as they enter into a dropping zone) that truly stoke the fire as vengeance. Fear not, folks. The Longest Day allows you on vengeance and so some. The filming is truly by a completely another age, and if you’re attending see Nazis get owned, why not see it otherwise than you’re wont to? The center Hitler virtually sleeping while the walls were boiling down around his authorities is truly something to behold. It was another kind of film making, without doubt, and provides us our initial entry of Nazis being owned up!
