Often it isn’t enough for the U.S. to send out our best bunch of baddie-dispatching commandos. The Dirty Dozen allows you a sampling of taking the WORST of the best – armed forces prisoners – and honing them into a different set of fine Nazi-killing machines. The training of the fresh, bad-ass recruits is even as exciting as the action scenes featured therein film, and ends with one of the most piquant scenes that is sure to satisfy those anticipating a high Nazi body count. The cast of (what were then) children eventually became about of Hollywood’s biggest stars on the 60’s and 70’s, making this another fantabulous addition to anyone’s videodisc library. It’s one of the greats without doubt.
