At the beginning of the yr, it was announced that Brett Ratner aspiring directing yet a different comic book movie, Youngblood. Naturally this wasn’t met with positive reaction, but as then, the only other major update we’d was that the screenwriters were half-way through finishing their first draft of the script.
The few contingents we did find affected some of the characters we may see, one that we would not see, and the unique fact show elements would stylize the cinema – The Youngblood team are celebs who work for the authorities, after all.
Today, we accept one more update for you about who Ratner prefer to* star in his film… MTV addressed with Brett Ratner and asked him if he accepted any ideas of what actors he’d like to play aside in the film.
“Definitely Robert Pattinson from ‘Twilight,’… He just experiences like he belongs in this world. I don’t only see him as a vampire, he’s a actually good actor.”
I wonder what consultation he’s trying to appeal to here. I believe what he means to say is that he deficiencies the large Twilighter horde to pay to see his film when it is acted – Perhaps to balance off some of the X-Men buffs who won’t be paying to see it. We don’t need to assume X-Men: The Last abide again, I don’t like looking backward on that.
So, what can we expect from Ratner’s adaptation?
“My vision for it’s: We’re attending make a very edgy, cool film… weren’t soft-peddling it in the least.”
That’s good news I suppose, but what does it mean? How will the movie compare to the hardcore style of the book?
It aspiring interesting to see Pattinson in a superhero role and what he coulded a major film and abettor script than he’s use to (if that were to actually happen), but I think Ratner’s throwing that out there for the wrong reasons.
Agreeing to creator Rob Liefeld (he’s also the creator of Deadpool), the story of the Youngblood movie will center the relationship between the oldtimer of the group, Chapel and entrant, Shaft. My approximate is that Pattinson is being eyed for the role of Shaft, the bow-and-arrow captain pictured up top.
